The relevant information is collected using keyword-based search in Google search engine, Google Scholar search engine, and AI-driven GPTs. This information is analysed and interpreted as per the objectives of the paper.
Analysis & Suggestions: The analysis of Karnataka Bank Limited highlights its strategic strengths in century-long institutional trust, promoter-free governance, and a diversified retail-and-MSME-focused business model, yet it also faces challenges such as intense competition from larger private banks and the need for accelerated digital transformation. These measures would ensure greater stakeholder value, customer trust, and long-term competitiveness in the evolving landscape of Indian banking.

It contributes original insights into how century-old regional banking institutions can balance traditional relationship banking with digital modernization and sustainable growth. The study's framework provides a valuable reference for future research and strategic planning in the field of regional banking institutions and financial sector competitiveness.
Type of Paper: Case study based on Exploratory Research.
