How MBA Graduates with AI-based Strategic and Research Skills are only Relevant to the Future Business World

Purpose: This exploratory research case study aims to examine how AI-based strategic and research skills can enhance the future relevance of MBA graduates in an increasingly AI-driven business environment. The study investigates the role of these competencies in improving employability, executive readiness, research productivity, innovation capability, and entrepreneurial success. It also proposes a comprehensive framework for transforming traditional MBA education into a future-oriented, AI-enabled management learning model.
Methodology: This exploratory research case study utilizes data gathered from various credible sources, including academic databases, Google Scholar, institutional websites, and AI-enabled GPT platforms. The collected information is systematically examined and interpreted using appropriate analytical frameworks aligned with the objectives of the study. This approach facilitates a comprehensive evaluation of the research problem and supports the development of meaningful insights and conclusions.
Results/Analysis: The analysis indicates that MBA graduates equipped with AI-based strategic and research skills are likely to achieve higher employability, stronger executive readiness, greater research productivity, and enhanced entrepreneurial capabilities. The study reveals that competencies such as AI-assisted decision-making, predictive analytics, strategic intelligence, innovation management, and AI-enabled research significantly improve future career relevance in an AI-driven business environment. The findings further suggest that transforming MBA curricula through AI-integrated learning, research-oriented education, and industry-linked innovation can create future-ready management professionals.
Originality/Value: This research offers a novel perspective by integrating AI-based strategic skills and AI-based research skills into a unified MBA competency framework for future employability, executive readiness, and entrepreneurship. The study contributes original value by proposing AI-enabled curriculum transformation, publication-oriented learning, and the Reverse Placement Model as innovative approaches for developing future-ready MBA graduates in an AI-driven business world.
